The Olympic moto, “Faster, Higher, Stronger”, has long been Cortino's personal mantra. First it was in the world of sport as an elite triathlete and then as a coach of endurance athletes. Cortino relocated to Idaho with his family in 2012 and deployed his ideology of coaching and teaching into the world of financial planning. Cortino works with his clients to implement plans with strong financial foundations. He believes that every individual and business owner should have the opportunity to maximize their hard-earned dollars, while utilizing tax-advantageous strategies to their benefit.

Cortino believes strongly in faith, family, education, fitness, and in giving back to others who are in need. He proudly helped rescue the Idaho Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to a sound financial footing and was instrumental in the creation of the non-profit arm of that organization, The Idaho Hispanic Foundation. The foundation's mission is to pursue charitable and community development initiatives such as the Idaho Women's Business Development Center. Cortino is also an avid volunteer in his church and at his children's school, and helps organize and direct annual community cycling events.

Cortino can often be found outdoors riding bikes, running, hiking, or gardening. He loves to read, laugh, and travel with his beautiful wife and three children. His family is the underlying reason he seeks to establish and maintain long-term relationships with his clients – so that he can teach by example the importance of building a business that places his client's needs first.

Peter has been in the financial services industry since 2001 when he finished his training with Morgan Stanley at the World Trade Center in New York City just three months before 9/11. Having started his career during such an unprecedented event along with the 2001 recession, Peter learned how important it was to best serve his clients in the midst of a very tumultuous time in the economy.

Peter currently holds the Series 7, 31, 63, 65 and various state insurance licenses. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, in the 1980's Peter started the first desktop publishing business in Idaho and spent many years in real estate development as well as residential, commercial and business brokerage. Peter also served a very rewarding and fulfilling stint on the pastoral staff of a large community church in Boise.

Peter has been married for over 40 years to a saint, which is evident because she has stuck with him all this time. Together they built great memories raising a family of 5 children. In his spare time, he enjoys a number of shooting disciplines, watching movies, New Testament translation work, and playing golf with his grandsons.

Scott has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years.  He has represented several major investment companies and worked with the top financial advisors in the United States. He is responsible in helping raise over $500 million dollars in capital for various investment companies and financial advisors. He has helped hundreds of clients with income and growth goals and tax planning. Besides traditional investments, Scott has extensive experience with annuities, real estate, and alternative investments. He also enjoys speaking at major financial events.

Scott is very passionate about his family, faith and outdoor activities. He has been married for 14 years and has a son, daughter, and a small dog named Lucky.  He is actively involved in his children’s Christian school.  He likes tennis, skiing, surfing, fishing and hiking. He resides with his family in Boise, Idaho.

Larry has over 30 years of experience in the financial services business. He holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Services (MSFS), is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and is an Enrolled Agent (EA) which allows him to represent clients before the IRS.

Larry enjoys helping people and his original training as a math teacher is evident in his patient communication style. His many loyal clients value his warmth and attention to detail.

While Larry Lee does tax preparation and payroll services, his special expertise is in crafting financial plans to fit each individual he works with. Larry understands the complexities of Taxation, Social Security, Investments, and Retirement Planning. Merging his knowledge of these pieces, he tailors a financial plan to each individual clients needs and objectives.

Larry and his wife Jenni enjoy hiking in the beautiful outdoors, dancing, and time spent with family and friends.

Tucker has worked in the financial services industry for over a decade learning the business from the ground up. Tucker grew up in Coeur d'Alene before he joined the United States Marine Corps in 1994. Upon honorable discharge, he lived around the world spreading his entrepreneurial wings.

Tucker is very active in the community and does extensive charitable work locally to help feed those in need. When not working, you can usually find him in a garden somewhere or volunteering with educational programs at one of the local schools. Being passionate about the environment, he likes to offer environmentally conscious investment options and prides himself on being a "green" financial professional.

Tucker focuses his business primarily on Medicare, long-term care, annuities, life insurance, tax-efficient investing, and legacy planning.

Gabe serves as a financial advisor with Cortino Garcia in the Eagle-Meridian office. Gabe enjoys working hard and chose to dedicate his career in the financial planning arena as he loves working with people. His primary drive is creating unique plans for each individual rather than utilizing a one size fits all approach. Financial planning allows Gabe to focus on people and relationships, rather than just numbers and spreadsheets.

Gabe graduated from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance/ Financial Planning. He currently holds the Series 63, 65, 7 and various state insurance licenses. Gabe is also actively pursuing the CFP® certification. 

He grew up in Southeast Idaho and loves spending time outdoors going camping, hiking, fishing, and especially riding four wheelers with his family. Gabe has competed in Figure 8 races and has placed third overall in several races. Gabe met his wife Nicole at BYU-Idaho and they married in 2020. Gabe and Nicole enjoy playing board games, going on trips, and finding new and exciting things to do in the area. They are blessed to have a growing family with their first child being born in March 2024.

Kirk Barnard recently came on board with Alpha 3 Wealth Management - Meridian as an Assistant and Advisor trainee. He has been a professional coach and seasoned investor whose career ethos, encapsulated by the motto "Don't talk about it, be about it," drives his success across multiple domains, including health, fitness, and investing. A graduate with cum laude honors in Economics from the University of California, San Diego, Kirk merges his analytical acumen with a personalized approach to client relations.

With over a decade of experience, Kirk has coached numerous individuals in both physical fitness and financial well-being. Kirk’s philosophy emphasizes that impactful coaching is grounded in both expertise and genuine empathy.

 Kirk recently transitioned from Southern California to Idaho, but is committed to the Idaho way of life and assimilating the best of Idaho culture. He and his fiancée are planning their wedding for late 2025 and are looking forward to starting a family. Outside of his professional endeavors, Kirk enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through workouts, hiking with his dog and fiancée, and attending concerts.
