Ryan Halterman CFP®, ChFC®

Director of Operations & Financial Advisor

Ryan has spent his life surrounded by the financial services industry learning from his father Todd Halterman along the way. Ryan grew up in Tri-Cities, Washington until he decided to attend Eastern Washington University in which he graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance.

Ryan worked for the university where he helped develop and run the EWU Center for Entrepreneurship which won numerous awards for best upcoming program in the nation. Ryan's time spent in the Center for Entrepreneurship has provided him with the tools to help create business plans for people's lives helping them with their life goals.

Ryan joined the financial services industry immediately out of college which has led him to joining Alpha 3 Wealth Management in 2021. Ryan is focused on educating families and business owners on holistic financial planning as well as helping the firm with its marketing and technology systems. He currently holds the CFP® and ChFC® designations.

In his free time, he likes to play on Lake Coeur d'Alene with family, help support his alma mater, and vacation. Ryan also has a big passion for Health and fitness.

Evan Harris

Director of Client Relations

Originally from Minnesota, Evan spent most of his adult life in San Diego and the Los Angeles area, cultivating a career in customer service, hospitality, and team management. Graduating from the University of California in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literary Criticism gave Evan a solid foundation for communication and critical thinking that translates to nearly any field.

Evan spent six years working for Marriott in San Diego’s Gaslamp quarter expanding his customer service and team management skills. While there, he earned the Department Star award for leading the front office team to score exceptionally high on their nationally ranked customer service scores. He also spent four years managing accounts for a fulfillment company in the Los Angeles area. Some of those accounts included FOX, Disney, and SpaceX, to name a few. Evan is excited to bring his customer service experience to a new field where he can really make a positive difference in people’s lives and create lasting connections.

Evan has a passion for music, and he loves to golf, fish, and hike. Thankfully, he doesn’t have to score well on the course, or catch any actual fish to enjoy himself outdoors.

Kaitlyn Peters

Office Manager

As the Office Manager of the firm, she oversees daily office administration and operations, supports client service workflows, and ensures the team has the systems and structure needed to deliver exceptional advice and service.

Kaitlyn was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene and lives here with her husband and two-year-old son. She has been in the client service industry for over 10 years serving in various roles. She enjoys getting to know people, hearing their stories, and helping them however she can.

Kaitlyn’s favorite things to do are read, baking sourdough bread, working out, taking walks with her son and all things local. If you are looking for local restaurants, shops, or fun things to do in the area then she is your gal. Kaitlyn also loves to support local businesses.

John“JT” Moore

Operations Associate

John “JT” Moore is a Marine veteran with a strong background in security and law enforcement. After serving in the Corps, he worked as a private security contractor while earning his criminal justice degrees, later serving as a parole officer.

His experience—from personal training and youth mentorship to residential construction—reflects a lifelong commitment to protecting and supporting others. Recognizing financial well-being as a key part of personal security, he joined the Alpha 3 team to continue serving clients in a meaningful way.

As an Operations Associate, he specializes in operations and business processing, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of client requests, account maintenance, and back-office workflows. Known for his attention to detail, reliability, and client-focused mindset, JT helps keep the firm’s operations organized, compliant, and running smoothly.

In his free time, he enjoys life with his wife and son, renovating their home, and trying new things.

Amber Buehring

Client Experience Associate

Amber serves a very vital role as a Client Experience Associate, supporting the firm through front-office coordination, client assistance, schedule management, and daily operational needs.

Her career is rooted in service and administration. She previously supported leadership at the Bates Group in Lake Oswego, Oregon, worked more than 16 years as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant at a major CPA firm, and has additional experience in finance, travel consulting, and education, including four years teaching at a private Christian school.

Outside the office, Amber is a devoted mother who embraces a “live while you can” philosophy and values faith, community, and personal growth. She volunteers at her church, mentors at-risk youth, and enjoys arts and crafts, dancing, hiking, exploring new restaurants, and traveling abroad. She shares her life with her family and two dogs, Snowball and Sparky, and is guided by the C.S. Lewis quote: “Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work.”

Amy Zimmerman

Executive Assistant to Cortino Garcia

Amy is our Meridian/Eagle office Executive Assistant and Client Care Manager. Amy grew up in Washington state and has lived all over the Northwest. She has a long-standing career in customer service and management. She’s worked many years in the field of coffee and will chew your ear off on the subject if you get her started. She and her husband, Paul, have recently returned to Idaho after living two years in Oregon. They love Boise including its outdoor recreation and small-town feel.

Amy loves water. She’ll choose a water activity over just about any other activity given the chance. A perfect afternoon includes taking her 5-year-old Lab/Border Collie to the river to play or time on her stand up paddle board. She also loves gardening and hanging with her husband and two dogs, Lewis and Erik.

Amy’s husband, Paul, has worked as a Project Manager for Sterling Communications in the field of managed IT services for nine years. He has a serious passion for golf and anything related to golf. Amy is more serious about having fun with golf on beautiful weather days and loves supporting Paul in his passion.

Amy and Paul proudly share two lovely adult sons, a daughter-in-law and one grandson. Son Tyler and his wife Kym live in Vancouver, Washington with their 12 year-old-son, Porter. Son Isaiah currently lives in Denver, Colorado. Amy and Paul cross their fingers they will all move to Idaho someday.

Brianna Adams

Marketing Associate

Brianna serves as a Marketing Associate for the firm. Her primary responsibilities include managing marketing projects, social media posts, website updates and helping maintain communication with clients to insure their needs are met and they are updated with important information.

Brianna has over 12 years of administrative, marketing and accounting experience in which she utilizes to help our clients to become more involved and aware of firm initiatives and communications. In her free-time she enjoys working out, hiking, traveling and donating her time to various charities and churches to help those who are in need.
